Pakistan, India Exchange Lists Of Nuclear Installations In Continuation Of Annual Practice: FO
Pakistan and India have exchanged lists of their nuclear installations as part of their longstanding annual practice, the Foreign Office said. The exchange was carried out under the Agreement on the Prohibition of Attack Against Nuclear Installations and Facilities, which has been in force since 1991. The FO stated that the move reflects both countries’ commitment to transparency and confidence-building measures despite prevailing tensions. The annual exchange is aimed at reducing risks and promoting stability in the region by ensuring mutual awareness of sensitive nuclear sites.
