Pakistan Rejects Indian FM Jaishankar’s ‘Irresponsible Assertions’ Following ‘Bad Neighbours’ Jibe 

Pakistan has strongly rejected what it termed “irresponsible assertions” made by Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar after his remarks referring to Pakistan as a “bad neighbour.” The Foreign Office said such statements distort facts, undermine diplomatic norms, and hinder prospects for regional peace. Pakistan reiterated its commitment to peaceful coexistence, dialogue, and resolution of disputes in accordance with international law. Officials added that India’s leadership should reflect on its own actions and policies that contribute to regional instability, rather than resorting to provocative rhetoric.
