Iran says over 93,000 civilian sites damaged in ongoing Israeli-US airstrikes

Iranian authorities have claimed that more than 93,000 civilian sites have been damaged in ongoing airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel, marking a significant escalation in the reported impact of the conflict. Officials said the damage includes residential buildings, commercial facilities and critical public infrastructure across multiple regions.

Earlier reports from Iranian officials and humanitarian organizations had indicated much lower figures—ranging from around 9,600 to nearly 20,000 affected civilian sites in the initial weeks of the war—highlighting a sharp rise in reported damage as hostilities intensified.

Analysts note that the growing scale of destruction underscores the widening humanitarian crisis, with concerns mounting over civilian casualties, displacement and long-term damage to essential infrastructure as the conflict continues
