Met Office says no rain expected in Karachi today as death toll rises to six

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said there is no chance of rain in Karachi today following the recent heavy downpour that caused widespread disruption across the city. Officials added that weather conditions are expected to remain partly cloudy with more stable conditions.

Authorities confirmed that the death toll from rain-related incidents has risen to six after another person died due to electrocution. Most fatalities were reported in separate incidents involving exposed electrical wires and structural collapses during the Heavy rain.

Rescue teams and municipal authorities remain on alert as efforts continue to drain accumulated water and restore normalcy in affected areas. Officials have urged citizens to remain cautious, particularly around electric poles and flooded streets, despite improved weather conditions.
