Pakistan, EU Explore Stronger Collaboration In Science, Innovation & Startups

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, met with Andreas Schwarz, head of cabinet to the EU Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, to discuss strengthening cooperation in science, research and innovation.
The meeting focused on enhancing the Pakistan-EU knowledge partnership under the Horizon Europe framework, supporting science diplomacy, and boosting ties between startup ecosystems on both sides.
Ambassador Qureshi emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to partnerships in knowledge-based sectors and innovation-driven growth. Both parties agreed to explore mechanisms for greater participation of Pakistani institutions in EU research initiatives and exchanges between entrepreneurs and innovators.
