India’s Indigenous Tejas Fighter Aircraft Crashes At Dubai Air Show

An Indian HAL Tejas fighter jet crashed during a flying demonstration at the Dubai Air Show, resulting in the pilot’s death, officials confirmed. Eyewitnesses reported that the aircraft suddenly lost altitude before erupting into a fireball, sending thick black smoke across the runway. The Indian Air Force expressed deep regret over the loss and has launched a formal inquiry to determine the cause of the accident. The Tejas jet, a 4.5-generation single-engine aircraft developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), is considered a key component of India’s indigenous defence capability.
