Governor Kundi Blames ‘Barrage Of Statements’ By KP Govt For Tirah Exodus
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has blamed what he termed a “barrage of statements” by the KP government for triggering the displacement of residents from the Tirah region. He said conflicting and alarmist remarks created fear among the local population, prompting families to leave their homes unnecessarily. Governor Kundi stressed that there is no decision regarding a military operation in the area and urged political leaders to exercise responsibility in public statements. Analysts noted that the comments come amid heightened political tensions between the provincial and federal leadership over the Tirah situation
