Iran says Israel, US deliberately targeting civilian areas as war rages for 6th day 

Iran has accused Israel and the United States of deliberately targeting civilian areas as the war between the sides entered its sixth day. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said civilians were being “brutally slaughtered” as strikes allegedly hit residential locations and other non-military sites.

Officials in Tehran said the attacks were aimed at causing maximum suffering and loss of life, while the conflict continues to intensify with missile and drone strikes across the region. The war began after joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian targets, triggering retaliatory attacks by Iran and raising fears of a wider regional confrontation.
