PMD forecasts drizzle, light rain in Karachi over weekend
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast drizzle and light rain in Karachi over the weekend as a weather system influences parts of the region. Officials said the city may experience partly cloudy conditions along with brief spells of light rainfall.
According to the Met Office, similar weather patterns including light rain and thunderstorms have been observed in Karachi under recent western weather systems, which bring cooler temperatures and gusty winds to the city.
Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious, particularly during drizzle and light rain, as roads may become slippery and visibility could be affected. Municipal agencies have also been directed to stay alert to prevent any disruption in low-lying areas.
