Punjab CTD arrests 36 suspected terrorists in a month, including 2 of TTP
The Counter Terrorism Department has arrested 36 suspected terrorists during operations carried out across the province over the past month. Officials said the arrests were made during intelligence-based operations aimed at preventing potential attacks and dismantling militant networks.
According to authorities, two of the arrested suspects are affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, a banned organization involved in multiple attacks in Pakistan. Explosives, weapons and other materials were also recovered during the raids, officials added.
The Counter Terrorism Department said it remains committed to maintaining security and will continue operations to eliminate threats, emphasizing that strict vigilance is being maintained across the province.
