PMD forecasts chances of thunderstorms, rain in Karachi, other parts of Sindh on Thursday
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast chances of thunderstorms and rain in Karachi and other parts of Sindh on Thursday. Officials said the weather system may bring intermittent showers along with gusty winds in several districts.
Authorities have directed municipal bodies to remain on alert and ensure drainage systems are clear to prevent urban flooding, particularly in low-lying areas. Emergency teams have also been advised to stay prepared for any situation arising from the changing weather conditions.
