Hot weather to persist in Karachi but temperature to stay below 40°C

Hot and dry weather is expected to persist in Karachi over the coming days, though temperatures are likely to remain below the 40°C mark, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Officials say the city will continue to experience warm conditions with high humidity levels, making the weather feel more intense despite relatively moderate peak temperatures. Sea breezes are expected to provide some relief, particularly during the evening hours.

Meteorologists noted that daytime temperatures are likely to hover in the mid to high 30s Celsius, while nighttime conditions may remain warm. The absence of any significant weather system means no immediate chances of rainfall or major shifts in conditions.

Authorities have advised residents to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours, and take necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.

Analysts say such weather patterns are typical for this time of year in Karachi, though rising humidity can increase discomfort levels even when temperatures remain below extreme thresholds.
