KP CM Afridi Criticises Closed-Door Decisions During Bannu Visit

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has criticised decisions being made behind closed doors during his visit to Bannu, calling for greater transparency and public involvement in matters affecting the province.

Speaking during meetings with local representatives and residents, the chief minister expressed concern over policies and administrative decisions taken without proper consultation, particularly on security and governance-related issues.

He stressed that public trust can only be strengthened through open dialogue and accountable decision-making, while assuring residents that their concerns would be heard and addressed.

The visit to Bannu comes amid ongoing discussions over law and order, development projects, and regional stability in southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Political observers say the remarks highlight growing debate over governance practices and decision-making processes within the province, especially on sensitive matters related to security and administration.
