Govt Announces Eidul Azha Holidays From May 26 To 28

The government has officially announced public holidays for Eidul Azha from May 26 to May 28 across the country.

According to an official notification, the three-day holiday period will allow citizens to celebrate the religious festival with family gatherings, prayers, and sacrificial rituals associated with Eidul Azha.

Government offices, educational institutions, and several businesses are expected to remain closed during the announced holidays, while essential services will continue to operate as usual.

Authorities are also expected to implement special security and traffic management plans in major cities to facilitate smooth movement during the festive period.

Analysts say the extended holidays are likely to increase travel activity and commercial movement ahead of Eid celebrations across Pakistan.
