Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has emphasized that the rights of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) must be safeguarded under any future constitutional amendment, while addressing an election rally in the region.
Speaking to supporters, Bilawal stated that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan deserve constitutional, political, and economic rights, adding that any reforms introduced in the country should ensure the protection of the region’s interests.
He stressed the importance of inclusive policymaking and said that residents of Gilgit-Baltistan should be given a meaningful role in decisions affecting their future and development.
The PPP chairman also highlighted his party’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and promoting equal opportunities for all federating units and regions of Pakistan.
