PM Shehbaz Says US-Iran Peace Deal Expected Within 24 Hours

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the finalisation of a peace deal between the United States and Iran is expected within the next 24 hours, expressing optimism about ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at ending months of regional tensions.

According to the prime minister, both sides have agreed on the final text of the proposed agreement, while Pakistan continues to work closely with Washington and Tehran to complete the remaining procedural steps.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that peace has never been closer, despite what he described as attempts by certain elements to undermine the negotiation process through misinformation and speculation.

The proposed agreement is expected to pave the way for technical-level discussions following its signing, with hopes that it will contribute to stability across the Middle East and reduce the risk of further conflict.

The development comes after months of mediation efforts and negotiations involving regional and international stakeholders seeking a diplomatic resolution to the crisis.

Analysts say the next 24 hours could prove crucial, as the successful signing of the agreement may mark a significant breakthrough in efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
