PM Shehbaz Says India Using Covert Tactics To Undermine Pakistan’s Peace

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has accused India of increasingly resorting to covert tactics and proxy elements to undermine peace and stability in Pakistan, while reaffirming the government’s commitment to safeguarding national security.

Speaking at an official event, the prime minister said Pakistan remains vigilant against all forms of external threats and will continue taking necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that despite regional challenges, Pakistan remains committed to promoting peace through dialogue while maintaining a strong and effective national defence.

He praised the professionalism of the country’s armed forces and security institutions, saying they have played a vital role in countering terrorism and ensuring the safety of citizens.

The prime minister also reiterated Pakistan’s desire for peaceful relations with neighbouring countries, stressing that lasting regional stability can only be achieved through mutual respect, diplomacy, and adherence to international law.

Analysts say the remarks come amid continued tensions between Pakistan and India, with security and diplomatic issues remaining central to relations between the two countries.
