Iran Says No US Meeting Planned, Warns Against Any MoU Violation

Iran has warned that it will respond decisively to any violation of the recently signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the United States, while stating that no bilateral meeting is planned between the two countries in the next few days.

Iranian officials said Tehran remains committed to the agreement, provided all parties fully adhere to its terms and respect their obligations under the framework.

The statement came in response to speculation about another round of talks, with Iranian authorities clarifying that no formal meeting with US officials has been scheduled in the immediate future.

Officials stressed that while diplomacy remains the preferred path, Iran is prepared to take appropriate measures if the agreement is breached or its national interests are threatened.

The remarks follow recent diplomatic engagements aimed at reducing regional tensions and advancing negotiations on key political and security issues.

Analysts say Iran’s statement reflects its cautious approach towards the implementation of the MoU, underscoring both its willingness to pursue dialogue and its insistence on strict compliance with the agreement.
