24 Terrorists Killed in Bannu Operations, Says ISPR
Security forces have killed 24 terrorists during intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district and adjoining areas, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media wing said the operations were launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants, resulting in intense exchanges of fire.
Officials stated that security forces successfully neutralised the terrorists while continuing clearance operations to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace across the country.
The operations form part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts aimed at dismantling militant networks and enhancing security in the region.
Analysts say the latest operations reflect Pakistan’s continued resolve to combat terrorism and strengthen stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
