Iran to Maintain Pressure on US Until Seven Demands Are Fulfilled, IRGC Says

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says Tehran will continue applying pressure on the United States until its seven conditions are fulfilled.

IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi said Iran would maintain its current position while demanding that Washington meet the conditions communicated by Tehran for any renewed negotiations.

Iranian officials have publicly identified several key demands, including an end to fighting, the release of frozen Iranian assets and an end to the US naval blockade of Iranian ports and vessels.

The dispute has also kept the Strait of Hormuz at the centre of tensions, with Iranian officials linking its reopening to the fulfilment of Tehran’s conditions.

The statements come as diplomatic efforts continue, with Iran having communicated its conditions to Washington through intermediaries while awaiting a US response.
