Pakistan Win Bronze in PUBG Mobile at Asian Games
Pakistan have won the bronze medal in the PUBG Mobile esports competition at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, securing the country’s fifth medal of the Games.
The Pakistani team finished third in the 12-match competition with 100 points, while Thailand claimed gold with 128 points and China secured silver with 114 points.
Pakistan’s five-member squad comprised Mohammad Huzaifa, Shayan Asad, Falak Sher, Hasnain Rehman and Syed Sameer. The team collected 39 points on the opening day before adding 61 points across the final six matches.
The team’s strongest performances on the second day included 16 points in the seventh match, followed by 10 points each in the eighth and ninth matches and 12 points in both the 11th and final matches.
In the concluding match, Pakistan finished third and collected 12 points, including four placement points and eight elimination points. Japan won that match with 18 points, while Thailand finished second with 14.
The bronze adds to Pakistan’s medal tally at the Asian Games, which also includes medals from women’s cricket, modern MMA and men’s singles squash.
The podium finish also marks another significant result for Pakistan in esports, with PUBG Mobile featuring as an official medal event at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
