KP CM Denied Adiala Meeting With Imran For 4th Time Despite IHC Order

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was denied a meeting with jailed former prime minister Imran Khan for the fourth time, despite an order from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) that the meeting be allowed. The IHC had directed the superintendent of ‎Adiala Jail to facilitate twice‑weekly meetings between Afridi and Imran Khan. Afridi said he arrived at the jail with the proper list approved by the court but was still blocked by Punjab police. He accused the authorities of defying the court’s directive and said he may file a contempt application.
