29,609 E-Tickets Issued Since System Inaugurated In Karachi: Police

Karachi Police announced that 29,609 e-tickets have been issued since the launch of the new e-ticketing system in the city. The system is part of the Traffic Regulation and Citation System (TRACS) initiative, which uses AI-enabled cameras and digital processes to enforce traffic laws more efficiently. Officers noted a significant reduction in manual interventions and hopes that the initiative will curb violations like speeding, helmet and seat-belt non-use, and mobile phone usage while driving.
