FBR Extends Deadline For Filing Returns Manually Until Nov 30

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing tax returns manually until November 30, giving individual taxpayers additional time to complete their submissions. The extension was granted in response to technical issues with the e‑filing portal and the large backlog of filers opting for manual registration. The FBR encouraged taxpayers to still prefer electronic filing but assured that manual returns will be accepted until the new cut‑off. The move aims to ease compliance pressures ahead of the fiscal year end and reduce penalties for late filing.
