Senator Farooq Naek Announced That The 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill Has Been Approved By The Parliamentary Standing Committees After Undergoing Several Amendments. The Bill Aims To Bring Reforms In The Structure And Functioning Of The Judiciary, Including Adjustments Related To The Appointment Process Of Judges. Naek Stated That The Changes Were Made Following Detailed Consultations To Ensure Transparency, Accountability, And Balance Among State Institutions. He Emphasized That The Revised Draft Reflects Consensus Among Lawmakers And Will Now Be Presented Before Parliament For Final Approval, Marking A Significant Step Toward Institutional Reforms In Pakistan’s Legal Framework.
