At Least 3 Killed In Lebanon’s Tyre As Israel Launches Attacks Despite Ceasefire
At least three people have been killed in Lebanon’s southern city of Tyre after Israeli forces reportedly carried out attacks on several towns despite an existing ceasefire agreement.
According to local reports, multiple areas in southern Lebanon came under heavy strikes, causing casualties and damage to residential infrastructure. Emergency teams were deployed to affected locations as rescue operations continued.
Lebanese officials condemned the attacks, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire and escalating tensions in the border region. Residents in several towns reportedly fled their homes amid fears of further strikes.
Israel has previously stated that its military operations target security threats and militant positions near the border, though the latest incidents have raised concerns over the stability of the truce.
Analysts warn that continued violence could undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing a wider regional conflict, especially as tensions remain high across the Middle East.
