UN Chief Calls For End To Ceasefire Violations In Middle East Conflict

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has stressed the need to end all ceasefire violations and pursue a political solution to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Speaking during diplomatic engagements at the UN, the secretary-general expressed concern over continued violence and rising regional instability despite existing ceasefire arrangements.

He urged all parties involved to exercise restraint, comply with international law, and avoid actions that could further escalate tensions across the region.

The UN chief also emphasized that lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue, diplomacy, and a comprehensive political process addressing the root causes of the conflict.

Analysts say the remarks reflect increasing international concern over the fragile security situation in the Middle East, where repeated ceasefire breaches continue to threaten regional stability.
