Iran Says Lebanon Attacks Violate Entire Ceasefire Deal
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that any violation of the US-Iran ceasefire in Lebanon should be considered a breach of the truce across all fronts, following renewed Israeli military operations in Lebanese territory.
According to Iranian officials, ongoing attacks in Lebanon are undermining diplomatic efforts and raising concerns about the stability of the fragile ceasefire agreement brokered in recent months.
Araghchi stressed that the ceasefire terms must apply to all regional conflict zones linked to the broader crisis, warning that continued military action could further escalate tensions in the Middle East.
The remarks came after Israeli forces launched fresh strikes in southern Beirut and other parts of Lebanon, while Hezbollah and Israeli forces continued exchanging attacks despite ongoing diplomatic negotiations.
Regional and international leaders have called for restraint, as fears grow that continued violations could derail efforts aimed at maintaining peace and preventing a wider conflict across the region.
Analysts say the situation remains highly sensitive, with both military developments and diplomatic talks expected to shape the future of the ceasefire agreement in the coming days.
