Aurangzeb Says FY27 Budget Lays Foundation For Sustainable Growth

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that the federal budget for fiscal year 2026-27 lays the foundation for accelerating the sustainable economic growth achieved over the past two years.

Speaking after the budget presentation, Aurangzeb said the government’s fiscal strategy is focused on maintaining macroeconomic stability, encouraging investment, and strengthening key sectors of the economy.

He stated that the proposed budget aims to build on recent economic gains through structural reforms, prudent financial management, and measures designed to enhance productivity and competitiveness.

The finance minister noted that the government remains committed to broadening the tax base, increasing exports, and creating an environment conducive to long-term economic expansion.
