Pakistan Recognised As ‘Peacemaker, Regional Security Provider’ After US-Iran Mediation: Dar

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said Pakistan has emerged as a “peacemaker and regional security provider” following its role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran.

Speaking at a public event, Dar said Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have received international recognition, highlighting Islamabad’s commitment to promoting peace, stability, and constructive engagement in the region.

He noted that Pakistan played an active role in encouraging dialogue and reducing tensions, helping create an environment conducive to negotiations between Washington and Tehran.

The deputy prime minister said the country’s foreign policy is focused on fostering regional cooperation, resolving disputes through diplomacy, and contributing positively to international peace efforts.

Dar added that Pakistan will continue supporting initiatives aimed at conflict resolution and strengthening regional stability through peaceful means.
