2 BLA Militants Arrested as Major Karachi Terror Plot Foiled

Sindh’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) says it has foiled a major terrorist plot in Karachi by arresting two alleged militants linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

According to CTD officials, the suspects were taken into custody during an intelligence-based operation conducted in the city, preventing a planned terrorist attack.

Authorities said weapons, explosives, and other incriminating materials were recovered during the operation, while investigations are underway to identify possible facilitators and networks.

Officials added that the arrested suspects are being interrogated to uncover further details about the alleged plot and any additional operatives involved.

The successful operation is part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to strengthen security and prevent terrorist activities in Karachi and across Sindh.
