OpenAI Cuts Ties With SpaceX-Owned Cursor Amid Musk Feud

OpenAI has announced plans to end its agreement to provide AI models to Cursor, the coding platform now owned by Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

OpenAI said it could not be confident that SpaceX would use its technology within its terms of service, citing previous contract violations involving Musk’s companies.

The move is the latest development in the long-running feud between OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Musk.

OpenAI plans to shut off access to its models on November 12, while Cursor says it is in talks with OpenAI to resolve the dispute.
